Refunds and cancellation
Applies to every paid Lantern subscription. Lantern is sold by Blue Camel Consulting LLC, a New York limited liability company. Write to support@lantern.family.
30 days, no questions
If Lantern is not right for your family in the first 30 days after your first charge, email support@lantern.family from the address on your account and say "refund". We refund the full amount, including any sales tax collected, to the card you paid with. We issue it the day we read your mail; your bank usually shows it within five to ten business days. This is the same promise on the monthly plan and on the yearly one: on monthly it covers your first month, and any second monthly charge that has already been taken when you write.
After 30 days
Ask, and we refund the unused part of the period you have paid for, counted from the day you write. Your subscription ends with the refund.
Cancelling
Cancel at any time from the billing portal, where you can also change your card and see your invoices. Cancel inside the day after you add your card and no charge is taken at all. After it, cancelling stops the next charge; the month or the year you already paid for runs to its end. When it ends, nothing your child already has is taken away: the wall keeps serving what it has, already-approved videos keep playing, and you can still remove a video or a child, delete, and export. Only the library stops growing. The pricing page lists exactly what never stops.
Deleting your family
Deleting your family from settings ends your subscription with it, monthly or yearly. You are not charged again, or at all if you are still inside the day after you added your card, and the 30-day refund promise above still applies. The deletion confirmation says whether your subscription was cancelled. A payment record is kept for tax purposes.
Something wrong on your statement
The charge appears as BLUE CAMEL AI. If you do not recognise it, or the amount looks wrong, write to us first. A refund from us reaches your card faster than a dispute through your bank, and we do not argue about it.
